The NottingHill neighborhood is famous from countless movies, and is a wonderful place to spend your time. In addition to the famous facades, painted in many different colored colors, and the absolute most famous street, Portobello Road, the area also houses one of London's most affluent and decadent neighborhoods.

In 2016, we chose to stay in London. Just our own family of 5.
Our eldest son had finished his studies at Columbia University in New York, and our daughter was in full swing with her studies, while we ourselves had a few extra days around Christmas. We therefore once booked rooms at a small hotel in Paddington, where the family could then bump into and stay as they got time for it.
It was an absolutely fantastic Christmas - at least if you ask the parents;)
One of the days we spent in the Notting Hill area. The district with the many colored house facades and the famous street Portobello Road.
In addition to the famous facades and streets and the fact that the area appears in many films - not least the film Notting Hill - you will find here, also some of the most affluent neighborhoods in London. Therefore, it is also not surprising that we bumped into this motif, with a parked Porsche that is somehow the image of the upper class we know so well from British culture.
