A trip to a family event in Brønderslev was used for a mini vacation, where we got around a bit in northwestern Jutland to partly experience and partly see if it could turn into a few pictures for the poster shop. The weather was nothing short of excellent. High sun and windless, perfect for photo trips.
One of the sights of the trip was Rubjerg Knude, which we actually wrote off when we reached the parking lot, from where there are probably a few kilometers to the tops, due to the huge numbers of people who had the same idea. Since it was the lighthouse I thought should be the motive, I thought the many tourists would be in the way. However, we thought it would be foolish not to go up and out to the lighthouse.
It turned out to be a good idea, because while the lighthouse is not the big experience, among other things. because the surrounding area looks like a landfill of old building materials, after some remodeling, the high slopes down to the sea were worth the whole trip.
The high jagged sand formations stand raw and unspoiled with a calm blue-green slightly rippled North Sea in the background, which forms a beautiful diagonal pattern in warm and muted colors.
