Verona is a beautiful city. In the summer of 22 it was around 40 degrees in the shade, so whenever possible you took a break in the shade, in the narrow streets between the yellow and golden facades.

In the summer of 2022 we went on our road trip "Bella Italia Tour 22". This time we had Umbria as a target. An area we haven't visited much, but there was a possible apartment bargain we needed to check out.
As we have done so often before, we start the car from home and then we see where the roads take us. This time we got close to Verona, and then we thought we might as well spend a few days in the beautiful city, where it was over 40 degrees in the shade - Nice ☀️ Let's just say we didn't freeze.
We settled a little outside the center, close to the motorway, in a quite boring area. On the other hand, the accommodation was cheap and it was only a 30-minute walk to the city centre.
Contrasts are what this picture shows. With 40 degrees in the shade, there were many who sought the shade, and with the many narrow streets, there is also a lot of shade to be found.
