Atmospheric Interior Design with Authentic Italian Posters

A passion for Italy – captured in unique posters

Italy. The very name conjures images of sun-drenched lemons on the Amalfi Coast, olive trees in Tuscany, and the warm tones of a gondolier’s song drifting through the canals of Venice. For us, Italy isn’t just a destination – it’s a way of life, a boundless source of inspiration, and a place where art quite literally hangs in the air. We’ve fallen for it so completely that we’ve made it a part of our everyday lives with an apartment in the small gem of Ospedaletti, tucked between Sanremo and Ventimiglia in northern Italy. It’s here we find calm, light, and those hidden moments that become posters brimming with authenticity and genuine Italian soul.

Every poster we create begins as a journey. Through winding streets, across rolling vineyards, past lively piazzas filled with laughter, coffee cups, and the scent of freshly baked focaccia. We don’t just capture images – we capture moods, stories, and fleeting moments that we bring home, so you can experience a little piece of Italy wherever in the world you happen to be.

Imagine the sound of a friendly “ciao” as you step into a charming trattoria, where today’s menu is scrawled on a chalkboard. The smell of freshly brewed espresso lingers in the air while a couple share a pizza in the shade of an ancient olive tree. These moments, filled with warmth and life, are the essence of what we try to preserve in our posters. They’re made to tell stories and bring light and vitality to homes, restaurants, cafés, and wine bars alike. They’re a window to Italy – the Italy we love, and the one we know you do too.

Posters with a story – straight from Italy’s soul

Each motif we capture is a fragment of Italy, where history lives in the details. From the iconic facades of Cinque Terre clinging to the cliffs, to city scenes from Verona with its narrow alleys and graceful arcades. From the charming piazzas of Perugia, where life unfolds with an espresso in hand, to the rolling green hills of the Prosecco Road that twist through the landscape. And then there’s the tranquil beauty of Lago Trasimeno, where the still water mirrors the sky and invites a moment of quiet reflection.

Our posters aren’t just images – they’re experiences, invitations to transport your guests to places rich in culture and beauty. In your pizzeria, prints of golden hills and green vineyards can create an authentic Italian mood that pairs perfectly with the scent of fresh pizza. On the walls of your restaurant, posters featuring Verona or Perugia can transform the room into a journey through Italy’s heart and history. Each piece stirs emotion and tells a story, making your space truly unique.

A tribute to the Italian la dolce vita

Italy has a magical ability to wrap you in its charm. It’s not just the grand landmarks, but the small, fleeting moments that make the country unforgettable. You can almost hear the clinking of wine glasses from a tiny trattoria where the scent of fresh pasta mingles with the laughter of regulars. On the walls of your pizzeria, pictures of classic Italian houses can create an atmosphere that draws guests into an authentic Italian moment.

Think of the warm light over Lago Trasimeno, where the water glistens like glass under the blue sky. Or the narrow streets of Verona, carrying generations of stories and elegance in every stone. Our posters bring these very moods into your space, inviting guests to share in la dolce vita. Each print is more than decoration – it’s an atmosphere, a story, and a small piece of Italy that lives on your walls.

Italian posters – the key to atmosphere

Italian posters have a certain magic. They can turn any wall into a story and give a space its own unique atmosphere. Whether you want to create a cosy setting with images of narrow lanes and piazzas or add elegance with green vineyards and classical architecture, Italian motifs bring warmth, charm, and authenticity to any room.

These posters are more than decoration – they’re small journeys to places where life is lived with passion and where every detail tells a tale. From bustling cafés to intimate restaurants, Italian posters help frame a mood that welcomes guests and invites them to linger. When it comes to creating atmosphere, imagination is the only limit.

My name is Niels Kliim. I am the main man behind the site PLAKATfar.dk, where we mainly sell pictures and posters with motifs from the places we travel and visit. Over time, I have also started to describe the same places, as inspiration, for all of you who found it exciting to read along. And that's included time has passed and turned into a small travel blog. All images and texts are mine and may not be reproduced without permission. However, you are welcome to link to my content.
