We got an opportunity to visit the beautiful islands, in connection with a photo job, and after that trip I would very much like to recommend a trip to the Faroe Islands. It's easy and it can be cheap if you book tickets well in advance. There are many beautiful, and sometimes raw, places in the Faroe Islands. There are also many roads, which makes it very easy to get around, so on a trip of 5-6 days you can really get to see a lot. However, we had the somewhat special experience of having 5 days with almost windless weather, except for our first day, where the trip went to the village Gjógv. There is the northernmost settlement on the island of Eysturoy, which is the Faroe Islands' second largest island.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn addition to the village having a bench that Crown Princess Mary once sat on, it is probably the natural harbor that is the village's number one tourist destination, and then one must not forget the opportunity to hike up the mountain, from where the bird mountain can be seen. Of course, it also brought us past the village of Gjógv, which has a very famous harbor located between a few rugged cliff sides. In Gjógv, of course, there are also lots of sheep, which are everywhere in the Faroe Islands. I love sheep and except in the middle of the big cities, you come across sheep everywhere and they have that luxury. Plenty of space and plenty of food make the sheep an absolute luxury animal. Therefore, the trip also offered a neck-breaking exercise in backing on steep mountain side in deep mud, before we finally found the waterfall.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch2\u003ePhotography with a roaring soundscape\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAfter a very short walk from the road where we parked, you come out to the cliff side, which is opposite the waterfall, which provides a good opportunity to photograph the waterfall. Except in the middle of the big cities, you come across sheep everywhere and they have that luxury. Plenty of space and plenty of food make the sheep an absolute luxury animal. The traffic on the roads does not seem to bother the sheep, who like to stand lazily and stare, very close to the cars, like munching on a tot of grass, but that in no way means that they are tame.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eI ran incredibly much for sheep and the sheep ran incredibly much from me or turned my buttocks to me, but then I met him here who just stood and was so über cool. After checking out from Comwell in Rebild, the trip went to Rold Forest without knowing that I would have one of the really great experiences an hour later.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eI actually can not remember at all where I parked or anything from from the actual hike out into the woods, but it is sort of subordinate as well, as it is the moment when the clouds opened up and let the sun's rays penetrate to the forest floor. As the sun's rays warmed the moist forest floor, more and more haze rose from the ground and mingled with the haze the cold morning had created in advance.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOf course, I snapped at the camera as the haze grew closer and closer and eventually rose all the way to the tops of the trees. And then all of a sudden, while the clouds are gathering again, and the sunlight can only just penetrate one last small opening in the gray mass of the sky, this wild moment arises.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt smokes and steams from the bottom of the forest, the condensed mist reaches all the way to the top of the trees and the concentrated sunbeam pushes all the way down through the condensed darkness of the pine forest, and the tall slender trunks of the trees stand like silhouettes against the powerful pillar of light - right in the middle the deep quiet of the forest.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eQuite a few moments after the picture is taken, it's all over. And yes - that's right. To get from Klim to Klitmøller, there are a few options, and we luckily chose route 29, where you drive a long way all the way along the coast of the Limfjord.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt was an incredibly quiet quiet day. There was no wind moving, and therefore the haze lay completely still at the very bottom of the sea surface. I tell my wife it would be great if we could spot a boat on the still water as it could be a beautiful picture.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFor a long time, nothing happened. Just water, water, water and mist. But as if by chance, the GPS decided that we should turn off and drive off 581, because there - just after Amtoft, where there is a small path down to the shores of the Limfjord, there was a small fishing dinghy.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch2\u003eAn ideal photo opportunity\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSo down the path and out of the car, after which it was really just shooting off. The motive was there, so it could hardly go wrong. Often the beautiful motif is not a matter of the best equipment and the best abilities.
